NEWS– A group of 42 officers completed a two-month road safety and induction course at CID Headquarters in Kibuli on  Tuesday, April 16, 2024. 

The course was aimed at equipping the participants with knowledge on principles of traffic and road safety, including traffic laws and regulations, first aid management, forensic crime management, integrated ICT management, crash scene management, and field studies.

SCP. Dr. Namutebi Hadijjah, Ag Director CPC, represented the IGP and urged the officers to use the skills and knowledge acquired to improve road safety in Uganda. SCP Namutebi also reminded the officers to have professional integrity and discipline while executing their duties as traffic officers on the roads by handling road users with humility. 

The Ag. Director of Traffic and Road Safety, SCP Nuwabine Lawrence, cautioned the participants to always have a positive attitude while executing their duties to enhance their performance.
