The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has said that the NRM is a party of enlightment with a clear strategic approach to national interests as already demonstrated in the last 40 years of governing Uganda and assures Acholi residents on cattle restocking plans.
President Museveni confirmed plans to improve party mobilisation activities and ordered for further sensitization of the electorate on the Party Manifesto through Acholi Sub region ahead of next week general elections.

While meeting NRM leaders drawn from Acholi Sub region today January 9th, President Museveni ordered for grant of motorcycle for NRM LC1 leaders and motorcycles for party Sub county leaders and instructed them to further sensitize the electorate on the NRM party principles and values.
President Museveni guided NRM party leaders from districts in Acholi Sub regions on patriotism, regional market and good politics of unity as opposed to sectarianism and promised to implement the commercial fishing among other wealth creation interventions for districts in Acholi Sub region with examples of success stories.
He guided Acholi leaders on wealth creation initiatives, proper economic enterprise selection, land utilisation for small and large scale land owners and equaly guided them on job opportunity sectors.
The NRM Vice Chairperson for Northern region Dennis Hamson Obua reveals that regional leaders have opted to compete in voting for the NRM Presidential Candidate General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as he gave statistical analysis of the region’s voter population.
