The Ministry of Health has today July 9th opened 3 day high-level management meeting at Hotel 360, Ndejje in Kampala.
The purpose of the retreat is to orient the leadership of the Ministry on the strategic direction of the sector, reflect on the current Ebola response and stakeholder management, build a consensus on priorities for the next five years, strengthen collaboration and build team work.
The meeting is being attended by a wide range of delegates led by the Minister of Health Hon Dr Chris Baryomunsi, State Ministers of Health, Senior Ministry of Health Officials and Various leaders and stakeholders in the health sector.
According to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Dr Diana Atwine, key issues on the agenda include strengthening health service delivery, addressing sector priorities, and improving health outcomes for all Ugandans.
Dr Atwine said that the Ministry of Health reaffirms its commitment to quality healthcare, accountability and collaboration across all levels.
