The Rukiga County Member of Parliament Hon Kiconco Patrick Katabazi has highlighted key aspects of wealth creation and urged residents of Rukiga District to embrace government programs aimed at improving livelihoods.
Hon Kiconco Katabazi made the remarks today during a one-day session on wealth creation and mindset change taking place at Apo Hotel in Muhanga Town Council, Rukiga District.
He encouraged the people of Rukiga to take advantage of government initiatives, including the Parish Development Model, as well as the improved access to water and electricity in the district, that support economic activities and household income generation
The Guest of Honor at the session, Rubanda West Member of Parliament Hon Bruce Kabasa commended the Members of Parliament from Rukiga for their efforts and active participation in Parliament, as well as their contribution to development in Rukiga District.
Hon Kabasa thanked the legislators for their commitment to representing the interests of the people of Rukiga and for supporting initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents in the district.
