The Primary Leaving Examinations- PLE on Monday morning kicked off smoothly at all the UNEB sitting centers in Kagadi district.
The candidates started with Mathematics in the morning and Social studies and Religious Education in the Evening whereas tomorrow 4th Nov, pupils will sit for Integrated Science in the Morning and English in the afternoon.
Paradigm FM held a mini-survey at the examination centers in the district and in its findings, majority of the registered candidates had turned up for the exams and there were no any significant anomalies.
At Kagadi parents P/S,all their registered 25 candidates sat for their papers,Kagadi Modal P/S all their 65 candidates have done their exams,
Kyakabugahya P/S has 21 candidates, St.Charles P/S registered 15 candidates and non has missed where as at Trust way schools Muhorro,all their 70 candidates have sat their exams.
At Bishop Rwakaikara P/S,out of 80 candidates, one missed, however all the registered candidates at Kids Light P/S and Agape learning center turned up for the exams.
At Muhorro BCS, all their 73 candidates have done their exams and elsewhere at Ranet P/S,Christ care P/S and St.Maria P/S all candidates sat their exams.
The school head teachers have said the exams were delivered to the examination centers in time and there were no major challenges registered on day one.
They are hopeful that their students will pass well because they have been adequately prepared.
Some Candidates expressed their readiness to pass the exams asserting that the first papers were affordable.
