NEWS- The Buganda’s ailing Kabaka, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has appealed to his subjects to remain united and faithful, as he recuperates from an illness that has kept him abroad for three months.
Kabaka Mutebi first travelled to Germany before connecting to Okonguarri Okonguarri Psychothuarri Psychotherapeutic, a private facility in Namibia in the Kunene Region.
“I am at this place where I came to get some rest and treatment on the guidance of doctors, ” said Mutebi. My health is getting better; I hope to return home in the not-too-distant future. Kabaka Mutebi said in April.
However, Mutebi’s sickliness has been fodder for bloggers with some accusing Prime Minister Peter Mayiga for hiding the Kabaka from his people.
In a video statement that has been released this Monday evening, by Buganda’s Prime Minister, Charles Peter Mayiga, Kabaka Mutebi urged his subjects to remain united and stronger.
“We urge our people to remain united during these trying times. In his proof-of-life speech, the visible frail King said”. Adding”: Thank you for praying for my recovery and patience in these trying moments.” He noted.
