Precious Atwiine scored a brace to make it 8-0, while Vanisha Niwaha and Natuhurira Precious completed the 10 nil victory.

It was a day to forget for ACCT goal Keeper Confidence Vumilia who was substituted towards the end of the game after failing to stop almost each ball that was shot on goal.

While addressing the Press after the match, BBUC Girls Football Team Captain Deborah Kiconco attributed their landslide victory to experience, Squad depth, thorough training and composure on the ball.

The ACCT Team Captain Evelyn Orikiriza blamed their embarrassing loss to lack of team work and “aggressive tackles” from the opponents.

“We looked like we don’t usually train together and the BBUC girls also played so aggressively. They tackled us each time we had the ball, and my teammates felt intimidated,” she said.

The KADGLA games are played annually in tournaments that are open for participation by each higher Institution of learning in Kigezi Sub-Region.

The games that started on October 31 with athletics, will climax on 2nd November, with both Girls and Boys Football Finals.

The participating Institutions have also fielded teams for Volleyball and Netball.
