NEWS- The South Ankole Diocesan Bishop Nathan Ahimbisibwe has implored Christians to be obedient to God’s commandments and natural laws if they are to eat the goodness of the land.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe said this today during the dedication of 36 P7 candidates of Kyamate Integrated Model Primary School held at St Matthew’s Cathedral Kyamate Ntungamo Municipality.

He asked candidates to accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior as teenagers in order to become the people of great importance in future.

Bishop Ahimbisibwe also tasked them to adhere to their parents’ directives and avoid promiscuity when going back to villages for the long vacation.

He was assisted by the Dean the Very Rev Can Cranmer Mwesigwa, curate Rev Kampame and bishops chaplain Rev Caleb Arinaitwe.

The head teacher of Kyamate Integrated Model Primary School Ninsiima Naome thanked the bishop Ahimbisibwe and the church for being there for the school to develop.

Ninsiima told the candidates that the future belongs to those who believe in the future of their dreams, appealing to them to read hard since their teachers have done their part.

She commended parents for entrusting the school with their children and pledged that their children will excel in the forthcoming examinations.

The Chairman SMC Nakanya Joshua and PTA Katamirwa Kenneth thanked the bishop and staff for being supportive.
