The Bishop stressed that the most valuable legacy parents can leave their offspring is not fancy homes, cars or other material goods, but rather a solid educational foundation that will empower them to create their own success and positively contribute to society.

He emphasized that while material comforts may provide temporary satisfaction, it is education that equips young people with the critical thinking abilities, problem-solving skills and adaptability needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world.

Bishop Akanjuna further expressed concern over the lack of financial prudence and long-term planning among many members of the congregation emphasizing the importance of developing a savings culture, where families set aside a portion of their income for the future, rather than spending it all on immediate consumption or luxuries.

The Bishop also urged the Christians to learn to use their resources more wisely. He challenged them to always approach their income-generating activities and household budgets with a greater sense of purpose and strategic planning.
