The convention attracted over 1500 youth and students who received the gospel and words of encouragement from different preachers from Uganda and abroad with much hope that this gospel will transform their lives spiritually and morally.

Bishop Onesimus Asiimwe asked the Youth to go and spread the gospel through telling since they came and saw what took place in the convention as he quoted it in Matthew 28:1-10.

He further challenged them to present and respect their bodies as living sacrifices to God as he emphasized that every body part has to be holy as he referred to Romans 12:1-2.

The Bishop thanked all who adhered to the Clarion call that was made for the convention and attended in person and all good hearted people who supported the Convention in one way or the other through giving money and food in kind.

According to Rev Andrew Kananura the North Kigezi diocesan youth coordinator who was overseeing the convention preparations told our reporter that over 1000 Youth and Students received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior with many confessing their sins which reflect what the ten commandments forbids us to do.

Some of the youth who attended the convention confessed of stealing, fornication, stealing, disrespecting the parents, masturbation and many others.

In the same conference, a number of Youth made a covenant with the Lord to keep themselves sexually pure until they get married as healing and deliverance also occurred during the Convention.
