The Bishop of the Diocese of Kinkizi Rt Rev Dan Zoreka has today confirmed 79 Christians into the Anglican faith at a colourful service that was held at St Johns Kajugagoma Church of Uganda in Kirima Sub-county.
The Bishop continues his farewell visits across the whole Diocese ahead of his retirement in May next year.
In his sermon Bishop Zoreka reminded Christians that every christian has a reason why he or she is still living and further reminded them how many people died during the COVID-19 pandemic but God kept us alive.
The Bishop informed Christians that God is the shepherd of us Christians like any herdsman take care of his animals, God also takes care of us as His flock and said that one cannot live on his own without Jesus Christ
He further implored Christians to separate themselves from worldly desires and come to Jesus Christ who can rescue them from the worldly suffering.
