BREAKING! Bishop Asiimwe Reshuffles Clergy in North Kigezi Diocese

Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, the Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, announced significant clergy reshuffles during a Diocesan Council meeting at Emmanuel Cathedral, Kinyasano, in Rukungiri District.

Among the notable changes, Rev. Muntulive Nshabaruhanga, the Diocesan Education coordinator has now been appointed as the new Diocesan Secretary, taking over from Rev. Can. Erick Beigana Mugyezi, who officially retired last year upon reaching the mandatory retirement age.

Ven. Benson Akankwatsa transitions from Buhunga Archdeaconry to All Saints Church in Rujumbura Archdeaconry, Ven. Dickens Baguma moves from Nyakyisoroza Archdeaconry to Emmanuel Cathedral Kinyasano, where he assumes the role of Dean.

Very Rev. Amatsiko Niwegariho has been reassigned from Emmanuel Cathedral Kinyasano to serve as Archdeacon of Bwanga Archdeaconry, Rev. Dickson Kakanyisa is relocated from All Saints Church to Nanga Church of Uganda, now serving as Parish Priest.

Ven. George Bazahuza transfers from Bwambara Archdeaconry to Buhunga Archdeaconry, Rev. Partson Amanya moves from Kibaale Parish to Nyarurambi Parish in Nyakyisoroza Archdeaconry.

In other changes, Rev. Medius Twinomugisha, previously a Vicar in Bugangari Archdeaconry, has been assigned to Kisiizi Hospital as an Assistant Chaplain, Rev. Moses Kabarebe joins from Kinkizi Diocese as the Coordinator for NKKD WATSAN and Assistant Household Transformation Officer in charge of Estates.

Rev. Evas Arinaitwe is transferred from Kisiizi Hospital, where she was serving as Assistant Chaplain, to become the Diocesan Education Coordinator at the Office of the Bishop and Chaplain at North Kigezi Health Centre IV, Rugarama.

Rev. Elidard Twikyirize Rukuru of Karuhembe Parish has been uplifted to Archdeacon of Bwambara Archdeaconry, Rev. Justus Otafiire from Nyarumbi Parish has also been promoted to Archdeacon and assigned to Nyakyisoroza Archdeaconry.
