PLE Best performer receiving gifts

NEWS- A united team of Educationists from Bukinda Sub County in Rukiga district under their Association “Bukinda development Association” have awarded the best performing Candidates for the year 2023.

A total number of 14 candidates from the government aided schools who managed to acquire 1st grades were each provided with a blanket, a pair of bed sheets, 5 books (3 quire) and Ugx 50,000 to help them in their next journey.

Speaking at the awarding ceremony held on 11th February 2023 at Kabale Bukinda Core PTC an Associate Professor Moses Nduhira Twesigye-omwe representing the Association’s Chairperson Kampala Team Dr. Callist Tindimugaya said that they focused much to developing their schools.

Prof Moses added that the Association also agreed to provide lunch to the teachers to their Schools, two sets of exams to their schools per term with an aim of adding a ton on the schools’ performance.

“The Association was formed basically with an aim of adding a ton on the schools’ performance in our primary schools that are under UPE. In our subscription we decided to provide lunch to our teachers, two sets of exams to our schools per term ahead of awarding the best performers at the end of the cycle” Said Prof Moses Nduhira.

The Chairperson Bukinda development Association Bukinda Team Mr. Kakuru Moses Bukinda Team said that the Association started awarding the best performers last year 2022 and that they are looking forward to continuing supporting their schools.

He pledged to award the overall best performer this year with Ugx 100,000 thus urging the now primary seven pupils who attended the awarding ceremony to work tirelessly so that they can achieve the best.

“I personally will award the overall best performer this year with Ugx 100,000. Remember we started this Association late last year but we were able to appreciate those who performed well then. So we are very well committed to supporting our schools” said Kakuru Moses.

Representing the best performers, Ahimbisibwe Berishaz who completed from Nyabireerema Primary School with 7 Aggregates and the overall best performer among the association’s beneficiaries and Kyobutungi Justine a former P7 candidate at Ryabirengye Primary School who got 11 aggregates appreciated the Association for the support.

They both pledged to work hard in a way of maintaining their best performance even in their next stage which is the secondary level.

Schools under the Bukinda development Association support include Kakatunda, Nyabireerema, Ryabirengye, Bukoranyi, Karobwa, Karorwa, Nyakasiru, Rurangara Primary Schools respectively.
