NEWS- Several Dignitaries have arrived in Kanungu District to participate in the Silver Jubilee Wildrun which is due to take place on Saturday March 30th 2024 at the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Buhoma Town Council.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Wild-run Muhiire Abdul, the Buhoma Wild Run will be graced by the Executive Director of Uganda Wildlife Authority, Mwandha Sam, the Executive Director National Forestry Authority Tom Okello Obong, the Executive Director Jane Goodall Institute Byamukama James as the Chief Runners all who have arrived in Buhoma.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of Wild Run Muhiire Abdul this run is a silver jubilee run in eight years of wild runs at seven National Parks, forests and major tourism attention destinations across the Country.
Muhiire told journalists this evening that the Wild Run is aimed at creating Uganda’s tourism potential and asked the residents to join hands to conserve Wildlife and Forests for generations.
The Wild Run Uganda is being supported by Ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities, Uganda Tourism Board Uganda Wildlife Authority, Jane Goodall Institute, National Forestry Authority, Trackers Safari Lodge, Suba Motel Kihihi, NB Motel Kihihi and EngagiLodge in Bwindi.
