Tumukurate and family during the thanksgiving mass

MITOOMA- Ugandans have been tipped not to over spend during the ongoing festive season as its temporary but basic needs are permanent.

This tip was raised by Trade Secretary Twesigyeomwe Paddy while speaking as a chief guest at the thanksgiving of the Deputy Resident District Commissioner Kazo Tumukarate Silver at St. Daniel Kashasha Catholic Church in Kiyanga Mitooma district on Wednesday 27th December 2023.

Twesigyeomwe said Christians should learn a saving culture during these luxurious times especially Christmas because after it, other needs like school fees and looking after their families tend to become a burden.

The Guest of Honour contributed One Million shillings and one hundred thousand Ugx only (1,100,000=) plus 100 bags of cement towards the thanksgiving ceremony and thanked Christians for having the good heart of giving to the lord.

The Deputy RDC Kazo Tumukurate Silver who also doubles as leader Kashasha zone congratulated all Christians for reaching on Christmas day and thanked all those who supported him on his Thanksgiving Day stressing that it’s a sign of loving each other as brothers and sisters.

The thanksgiving mass was led by Rev Father Twinamatsiko Innocent who challenged Christians to use this festive season to renew their lives and turn back to Christ by avoiding being involved in evil acts.

The Catholic catechist Kashasha church Nabasa Geturude Maritazari thanked Christians for always supporting the church. At least Ugx 7million and 112 bags of cement were collected from the Kazo Deputy RDC’s thanksgiving.
