Mitooma RDC Kibuuka Amooti in black coat

NEWS– The Mitooma Resident District Commissioner Francis Kibuka Amooti has called on civil servants to always work hard to leave a positive legacy in places they are posted to, if they are to be remembered for their work.

Kibuka made the call during the farewell function of the District Internal Security Officer Twinomugisha Patrick and his operative officer Milly Kajube who were transferred to Kampala training centre for other missions, a function that took place at Peak hotel in Mitooma district.

The RDC noted that all civil servants must learn from their fellows to work hard on leaving a legacy in their areas of work so that they are respected and loved even at the time of their transfers.

Speaking on the same function, the greater Bushenyi Region Internal Security Officer Lieutenant Amos Yiga noted that Patrick has been transferred to Kampala for other duties and replaced by Tibingana Ronald who he expects to work together with all stakeholders for the district’s smooth development.

Benon Karyeija aka Boneza, the Mitooma district chairperson thanked the outgoing DISO Patrick for his tirelessly efforts in fighting corruption stressing that it’s the reason he was accorded such a respect.

Meanwhile Patrick Twinomugisha, the outgoing DISO asked people to always embrace positive change since some changes come as opportunities and asked them to continue working in team work and harmony for good of the district.
