NEWS– The Secretary General of the Uganda Law Society who is also the Deputy Chancellor, North Kigezi Diocese Counsel Isaac Atukunda has fulfilled his pledge of 50 bags of cement to Kakonkoma Church of Uganda in Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
The cement worth over Ugx 3.5M was delivered by team counsel Isaac led by his Political assistant Fred Mucunguzi, who is the Eastern Division Councilor to the District.
Mucunguzi in his handover speech noted that Counsel Atukunda who is eyeing the Rukungiri Municipality seat is committed to support Religious institutions as well as organized groups in the Municipality to support their social-economic welfare.
Mucunguzi was flanked by the Rukungiri Municipality Speaker Hon. Tumusiime Constance, councilor representing Women from Western division at the district Mwesigwa Precious, councilor representing Kagashe Ward at Municipality Innocent Muhwezi among others.
Mucunguzi Fred on the function said that Counsel Isaac is a man of his word, fulfilling his commitments for the good of society.

Receiving the cement, John Biziringyi, the Kakonkoma Church of Uganda head of development commended the aspiring legislator for the timely fulfilment of the pledge he made on Sunday, July 28th 2024.
Biziringyi added that the donated bags of cement will assist them in their construction of their church to a higher level.

Some Christians from Kakonkoma Church of Uganda, including Sarah Karuhanga and Kinamura Eliab, praised Counsel Isaac Atukunda for helping them build their church since it relieves them of the possibility of having to pay tithes.
