Police in Rubanda District has arrested Byamukama Milton Hebert, aged 49 years for defiling his biological daughter.
Byamukama is a resident of Kishanje cell, Nyakabungo ward, Rubanda town council.
According to Elly Maate, the Regional Police Spokesperson, Kigezi Region, Byamukama is alleged to have defiled his six years old daughter.
Maate says the case was registered last year vide reference 24/03/12/2019 but Bymukama managed to run into hiding until today Wednesday, February 26, 2020 when he surfaced.
“the Community Development Officer and the police worked together and was arrested, he is currently in police custody at Rubanda district police headquarters”, Maate said.
“we shall charge him with aggravated defilement then send the file to the Directorate of Public Prosecution for perusal and advice and later appear him in court”. Maate said.
