NEWS– The Directorate of Criminal intelligence has been praised for combating crime in the country.
The call was on Thursday 22nd August 2024 made by the Inspector General of Police IGP Abas Byakagaba during his visit to the Directorate.
Byakagaba visited the Directorate of Crime Intelligence for familiarization and engagement with the directorate.
He praised the Directorate led by AIGP Christopher Damulira, for its remarkable successes in combating crime most particularly terrorism and organized crime.
The IGP stressed the importance of teamwork and discipline promising to enhance capacity building and personnel welfare to elevate the team’s performance.
IGP Byakagaba also celebrated the Directorate of Criminal intelligence ‘s recent victory in the IGP Cup.
