NEWS- Latest unfortunate news from Eastern Uganda indicate that over 20 homes have reportedly been buried following landslides that struck Kimono Village in Buluganya Sub-county in Bulambuli District.
Bulambuli Resident District Commissioner Hajjat Faheera Mpalanyi has confirmed the disaster and said that more than 30 people are feared to have died after being trapped under the soil moulds and debris.
In Sironko District, landslides occurred in Kesenji Village in Zebibi Parish in Bukyabo Sub-county, where eight people lost their lives due to floods and mudslides.
