NEWS- The Mitooma district outgoing Deputy RDC Marysent Ariyo Abiine has been praised for her endless efforts in fighting domestic violence and promoting security and service delivery within the district.
A handover ceremony that was presided over by Mitooma RDC Kibuuka Francis Amoti was held at RDC’s office saw Merysent Ariyo Abiine who has swerve as the Mitooma Deputy RDC for two and a half years has been transferred to Bundibujjo district. She handed over the tools of power to Umaru Muhanguzi who was recently transferred from Bundibujjo to Mitooma district.
Speaker after the speaker praised the outgoing Deputy RDC for her tireless efforts in bringing harmony among families and it’s from this point that Benon Karyeija aka Boneza, the Mitooma district boss noted that the outgoing deputy RDC made her position felt in the district by her achievements hence a need for the newly appointed one to start from where she has stopped.

On her part, Marysent Abiine Ariyo noted that it is the unity and hard-working leadership of Mitooma District that has enabled her achieve all this. She however noted that there is still a need for his successor and the entire team to fill some of the gaps in promoting government programs, fighting absenteeism among civil servants among others.

The incoming Mitooma District Deputy Resident Commissioner Umaru Muhanguzi, noted that he is ready to move together with the district team to ensure the smooth running of the district.
