NEWS- The Police in Kibaale District are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a man following a bar fight on Easter Monday in Kikuuba village, Mugarama Sub County.
The deceased has been identified as Charles Bingi, a resident of Kikuuba village in Mugarama Sub County, Kibaale district.
According to Nobert Ochom, the Kibaale District CID officer, the deceased developed a misunderstanding with a group of people which later resulted in a fight on Monday night.
Ochom said that anger ensued when Bingi tried to forcefully dance with a lady in the same bar who is alleged to have pushed him and hit his head on the ground leading to unconsciousness.
Ochom added that Bingi was rushed to EMESCO Health Center IV where he died on Tuesday morning and that Police have arrested the suspects whom he declined to reveal but are currently detained at Kibaale police.

Ochom has however revealed that during the Easter, Kibaale police has registered 2 serious cases of murder including the brutal murder of Reuben Barusimana of Kyakadongo village in Kabasekende Sub-County and this has led to the arrest of 11 suspects.

In a related development, a 29-year old mother of two, a resident of Ngerebwe LC1 Kabasekende Sub-County has committed suicide over unclear reasons.
The deceased has been identified as Ritah Asiimwe, a wife to Elite.
