NEWS– The Police in Ibanda district are investigating a case of murder of Kabagambe Deus Dedit, a 73 year old male adult, resident of Kaaburo II Cell, Rugaaga Parish, Keihangaara sub county in Ibanda district that was hacked to death by unknown assailants.
It’s alleged that the deceased left his home during the day at about 3Pm on 16th March 2024 only to be found lying dead along a village foot path distance away from his home.
SP Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi region Police spokesperson told the press that a murder case was registered, crime scene visited by Police and the scene well documented.
According to preliminary investigations, the body of the deceased was found with a deep wound on his head and might have been hacked with a blunt object.
Body of the deceased was conveyed to Ruhoko Health Center IV for postmortem as iquiries into the matter are ongoing to have the suspects apprehended.
