KASESE- Five people from Kyarukara cell in Katwe-Kabatooro town council, Busongora County South in Kasese District are nursing injuries which they sustained yesterday when the heavy rains with storm stormed their area.

The victims includes Maricelina Kahindo 70years, Job Isingoma and Sezila Nyakato 2years, Vineland Katusabe 6yrs all children to Mr Arnest  Bulemu a resident of the area.

The most injured is Vineland who’s leg got broken when the bricks were following from the collapsing house and was quickly rushed to Bwera Hospital for medical attention. 

Kahindo who sustained injures on the head also her house was destroyed now homeless but while talking to the media, she asked leaders to come for their rescue.

Iryn Kiiza the secretary Katwe salt owners SACCO also reported that their office was destroyed especially all the documents that belong to the SACCO.

Hon. Gideon Mujungu the Busongora County south Mp who visited the affected families, asked the community to embrace tree planting as a measure to curtail such acts.
