NEWS- The Former Kabale District Woman Parliamentary Aspirant, Hon Enid Origumisiriza Atuhaire has clarified the independent stance and unveiled Transformative Vision for Kabale
In a press conference held at Albertine Hotel in the Central Division of Kabale Municipality, former Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament aspirant, Hon Enid Origumisiriza Atuhaire, known as Aunt Enid, dispelled rumors of affiliation with the Church of Uganda and affirmed her independent candidacy for the upcoming Kabale District Woman Member of Parliament seat.
Addressing the media, Origumisiriza emphasized her autonomy, recounting her previous election run as Enid Origumisiriza and clarifying that she operates independently of external influences.
She expressed concern over the recurring misconception linking political aspirants in Kabale to church endorsements and urged the public to refrain from spreading such misinformation.
During the conference, Enid elucidated her decision to re-enter the political arena, citing observed gaps in socio-economic transformation and service delivery in Kabale District. She expressed confidence in her ability to address these issues within the Parliament of Uganda.
Enid, driven by a passion for serving the people of Kabale District, outlined her commitment to prioritize development projects focused on improving residents’ livelihoods. Key areas of focus include education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and poverty alleviation.
With a vision centered on addressing critical areas, Enid believes her advocacy can contribute to Kabale District’s socio-economic transformation and enhance service delivery to its residents.
