Thousands of NRM supporters received President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni

The National Resistance Movement Party Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has confirmed plans to establish a Milk-chocolate factory in Bundibugyo District and conglomerate industrial park to add value on the immense cocoa and mineral deposits in that area.

While addressing a campaign rally at Bumadu Playgrounds in Bundibugyo District – Rwenzori Sub region President Museveni explained that he had identified potential investors to actualize the idea for a Milk-chocolate factory projected to avail thousands of jobs and market to cocoa farmers.

President Museveni said that he had added Cocoa to the list of profitable economic enterprises to the people of Bundibugyo District and Rwenzori Sub region and rallied them to intensify its growing for wealth creation at individual and homestead levels and promised to commit government plans to avail support funds

Presidential Candidate Museveni listed other commercial agricultural enterprises for micro land owners in Bundibugyo District that include Coffee farming, fish farming, fruit growing, poultry and diary farming among others  and gave examples of successful wealth creators who embraced the NRM mass line for wealth creation and advised intending wealth creators to emulate the same.

President Museveni unveiled plans to expand Bundibugyo District General Hospital and several Health Centers are lined for upgrade and also revealed tgat education plans to add to the 107 government primary schools and 12 secondary schools already in Bundibugyo District.

He also assured the people of Bundibugyo District of plans reconstruct Fort Portal – Bundibugyo road among other additional road infrastructural developments earmarked for the area and rallied leaders and the people of Bundibugyo District on embrace prioritization for effective service delivery.

He urged the electorate of Bundibugyo District to vote for non corrupt leaders for effective service delivery with good ideological understanding of leadership and guided on the people of Bundibugyo District on job opportunities through skills, commercial agriculture, manufacturing, services sector and rallied them to fully embrace the opportunities therein.

President Museveni asked the people of Bundibugyo District to support free universal education plans for all children in government schools and rallied the people of Bundibugyo District to take advantage of the thriving infrastructural developments in their area to fully involve in wealth creation.

He promised to further strengthen lower health facilities’ capacity as he rallied the people of Bundibugyo District to focus on healthy living and feeding for full productivity and explained how the NRM government has improved health services and reaffirmed the NRM government plans on security for Bundibugyo District and warned those threatening to disrupt the Uganda’s peace.

While speaking at the same event, the NRM second National Vice Chairperson female Rt Hon Anita Among highlighted several development strides made by the NRM government to the people of Bundibugyo District and asked the people of Bundibugyo to both to boost development.
