OP-ED- From Brink of Foreclosure to Financial Freedom: Divine Miracle or Daddy’s Help? Patience Rwabwogo, daughter of President Museveni, shared a remarkable story of faith and resilience at gert Covenant Nations Church.
Over 18 years ago, her family faced financial struggles that put their home at risk of being auctioned by a bank due to missed mortgage payments.
Despite their prominent status, they were overwhelmed by mounting interest and the threat of foreclosure. But Ms. Rwabwogo turned to her faith in a moment of desperation.
“We were paying the loan with our income from our businesses, and at some point, we had some struggles,” Ms Rwabwogo recalled. We got behind in the mortgage, and the interest started piling up. She said”
She received what she believed was divine guidance to make new cupboards for their home, an act of faith that seemed counterintuitive given their situation.
However, after following through with the instruction, the family miraculously secured the funds needed to settle their debt, not only paying off the arrears but also clearing the entire mortgage.
Ms. Rwabwogo attributes their financial rescue to divine intervention, saying, ‘God opened a way for us… Don’t be afraid. You are going to live in this house for a long time.she said.
Mrs. Rwabwogo’s courageous sharing of her family’s financial struggles has sparked a wave of hope and inspiration, reminding us that perseverance and faith can overcome even the darkest of times.
However, not everyone is convinced that the Rwabwogos’ financial turnaround was solely due to divine intervention.
Some social media users, particularly on X (formerly Twitter), are skeptical, wondering if the family’s connections or even a simple phone call to President Museveni might have played a role in resolving their financial woes.
