RUKUNGIRI- The Bishop of Revival mission church Rukungiri district Michael Grace Okello has reminded all believers that Jesus Christ is only a passport to the everlasting life because He is the Way, the truth and the life.
He said this today during the burial of late Wilson Bamwihehi in Kanonko- Kabashaki village Karuhembe Kebisoni Rukungiri district.
Bishop Okello flanked by his wife Allen asked mourners to stop being anxious and worried about their life but rather seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.
He hailed the late Bamwihehi for being born again Christian and a strong pillar of the church which everyone should emulate.
The five wives of the deceased described their husband as a developmental, brave and uniting factor of the family.
They appealed to the family members to cooperate in order to maintain the reputation of the family.
All children led by Tushabe said that their father, the late Bamwihehi, was the first coffee farmer in the area.
They noted that their father was an elegant and strong church mobilizer who accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior.
They thanked family members and friends for support during sickness and death.
The young brother Ahamed Kamishana of Kitembe Nyarutuuntu Sub County hailed his brother for nurturing and grooming him to be what he is.
He noted that he was trustworthy and hated hypocrites among his patriots.
The Rubabo county MP Hon Namanya Naboth tasked parents and guardians to save money for the education of their children for a better generation.
The Rukungiri district chairman LCV Geoffrey Kyomukama and Charles Kahanyi LCIII Kebisoni hailed the late Wilson Bamwihehi for introducing coffee growing in Karuhembe Kebisoni which has helped many to eradicate poverty at household level.
The late Wilson Bamwihehi aged 88 years succumbed to accident injuries he sustained a fews years ago and left 5 wives, 19 children, 62 grandchildren and32 great grand.
