NEWS- The Police in Kanungu District are investigating circumstances under which a 42 years old man identified as Frank Tusingwire, allegedly committed suicide.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate confirmed and said that the incident occurred last night at Nyamutundane village in Kashojwa Parish in Rugyeyo Sub-county in Kanungu district.
It’s alleged that the deceased Tusingwire fought with his wife Twikirize Constance and later the wife ran to her parents home with all the little children and today when she went back home, she found the husband hanging in the rope in visitor’s room.
The Police were notified and the scene of crime was visited from Rugyeyo Police Post and recovered the rope used for hanging and and postmortem examination done at the scene, later the body was handed over to relatives for decent burial.
