NEWS- Kabale Municipality councilors have praised former Kabale Municipality Mayor Dr Pius Ruhemurana as a strong pillar to the current state of Kabale Municipality.
The tribute to honour Dr Pius Ruhemurana was moved during a special sitting of the house chaired by speaker Byamukama Deogratias at kabale municipality council hall.
The speaker Mr. Byamukama Deogratias the deceased as a person who contributed much towards the development of kabale Municipality and a person who used his profession as a gynecologist to help women in kabale district.
The Kabale Municipality Mayor Byamugisha Sentaro honored the late as a person who was a friend to many.
Byamugisha added that they have lost a great man in kabale who did much great contributions towards the development of Kabale Municipality.
Some of the lc4 councilors, Joweria kakokoza and Izongoza Margret Described the late as person who was a mentor, as a person who supported government programs and as a person who united religions in kabale.
The kabale Municipality MP Dr Nicholas Thaddaeus Kamara described the late as a person who influenced and convinced him to join politics. He added that Ruhemurana was a loving family.
The late Rehemurana was buried at his ancestral home in Kashumuruzo cell, Kitanga Parish, Kashambya sub county in Rukiga district
