NEWS- Kinkizi Stewards College, a project of Great Stewards of Hope located in Kihihi Town Council, Kanungu District has yet received another batch of Laptops to add in the Computer Laboratory.
The donation was got from Kirima Ltd, a charity organisation based in the UK that supports all projects under Great Stewards of Hope, that include Kirima Great Stewar6ds Primary School, Great Stewards Kanyantorogo SSS and Kinkizi Stewards College all found in Kanungu District.
According to Kinkizi Stewards College Principal Ayebare Hillary, the donation is a second batch of Laptops Donation they have received from Kirima Ltd and they expect more in the months ahead.
Kinkizi Stewards College opened this month of February 2024 to train students doing certificate and Diploma Programmes in various fields like, Agriculture, Business, Tourism, Information Technology, Accounting, social world and more and all Programmes are examined by Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board (UBTEB) and take two years on semester basis.
According to the Principal, Kinkizi Stewards College is community based and focuses on providing quality affordable education to the Community around Kanungu, Kigezi Region and beyond and they charge affordable fees. Students at Diploma pay total of 320,000= per semester while those studying certificate Programmes pay 280,000= per semester.
The fees charged include both Tuition and functional fees. There are also special scholarships available at Kinkizi College for students from less privileged families.
The College’s first intake has already gone up and attracted over 100 admissions and according to Bidba, admissions will close on 10th March 2024 for the February 2024 in take.
Kinkizi Stewards College has very professional and qualified academic staff with all the required facilities to train students into responsible and skilled graduates.
The Team Leader for Great Stewards of Hope, Honest Wilkins Natukwasa, the organization is set to transform the Education of Kanungu District and the Region at large.
Natukwasa said that he recognizes the great support from friends overseas especially Kirima Ltd in the UK and requests the Kanungu Community to embrace such a blessing and opportunity with positivity and Love.
