NEWS- The Ankole region media fraternity was on Wednesday morning hit by sadness of the untimely demise of Arinaitwe Innocent who has been working with Eihwa (a Mbarara City based Runyankore Rukiga News paper).
Arinaitwe died at Mbarara Regional referral hospital in what sources believe was due to pneumonia, an illness he is said to have been nursing at the facility for some time.
Arinaitwe worked with a number of Mbarara City based media houses including Greater African Radio, Mercy FM before joining the Good News Television (GNTV) where he worked as a Political show host until the time of his demise when he was working at Eihwa News paper.
Shortly after the news of his demise, a number of media personnel, friends and family took to their different media platforms to condole with the bereaved family in these trying moments.
By press time, details about the hospital postmortem report and burial arrangements were yet to be put to the press; we shall however keep you posted with details as they unfold.
