Minister Bahati addressing mourners

NEWS- Hon David Bahati, the Minister of State for Trade, Industry, and Cooperatives and also the Member of Parliament for Ndorwa West County in Kabale District has urged the public to take responsibility, be self-reliant, and foster unity within their families and respective communities for future prosperity.

Minister Bahati mentioned that some families neglect their responsibilities, leading to family breakups.

The Minister said this on Saturday January 6th 2024, while  representing the government during the send-off service of Kabale business woman late Judith Kesiime  at St Mark’s Kikungiri Church of Uganda Archdeaconry, in the Diocese of Kigezi,

Bahati encouraged the community to always support and uplift each other, especially in times of need, as Judith Kesiime was known for her kindness and willingness to help others, emphasizing on the importance of working together and building a strong, supportive community for the betterment of everyone.

Minister Bahati who is the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Chairperson Kabale District further called on the communities to Honor the legacy of Judith Kesiime by continuing to embody her positive traits of responsibility, self-reliance, and unity. 

Ven. Benon Byaruhanga the Archdeacon St James Kamuganguzi church of Uganda Archdeaconry while giving the summon asked the public not to be led by the beauty of  the world privileges stressing that everything has its time and God is above all emphasizing the recognition of the temporality of worldly privileges and the supremacy of God over all things.

Ven. Byaruhanga encouraged the public to maintain a spiritual perspective and not to be misled or overly consumed by temporary worldly gains or statuses.

He said that life has different seasons and that people should trust in God’s timing and plan for their lives. 

Judith Kesiime died at the age of 45 due to heart failure and a blood clot at Rushorooza Hospital, leaving behind six children.
