Baryomunsi, Rev Fr Beinomugisha and Rev Fr Arinaitwe are joined by Bshop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary School Board of Governors

KANUNGU- The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon Dr Chris Baryomumsi has commended Bishop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary School for shaping many children into great Ugandans.

Minister Baryomunsi who is also the Kinkizi East Member of Parliament made the remarks on August 4th 2024 while presiding over 27 years Anniversary and launch of Computer Studies at Bishop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary school in Kanungu Town Council in Kanungu District.

The day was also used to celebrate Rev Fr Dr Abel Beinomugisha’s 37 years Anniversary in priesthood who founded the school.

Minister Baryomumsi commended Fr Bainomugisha for starting up Bishop Mazzoldi School which has helped educate many people who have become important and skilful citizens.

The Minister also hailed the school founders and the management for organizing the fundraising function of launching the Computer studies which will shape the current pupils and make Bishop Mazzoldi to shine in Kanungu District and beyond.

Minister Baryomumsi said that government is implementing universal primary and secondary education and urged parents to educate their children in the schools they can manage because education is life investment.

He also commended Old boys and Old girls of Bishop Mazzoldi for coming up with the idea of launching Computer studies at their former school saying that it has come at the right time when the world is in the 4th industrial revolution where everyone should be knowing how to use a computer.

The Founder and Director of Bishop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary Zchool Rev Fr Abel Beinomugisha thanked God for leading him and guiding and leading him in making 35 years in priesthood and 25 years anniversary of Bishop Mazzoldi Primary School.

Fr. Beinomugisha urged urged parents and well-wishers to continue supporting the school in buying computers and thanked Old boys and Old girls for working together and coming up with that initiative.

While giving a sermon at the same function Rev Fr Sylvester Arineitwe hailed Fr Beinomugisha for the sacrifice of serving 37 years as a priest and hailed him for developing Bishop Mazzolid Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary School.

Fr Arinaitwe urged people to work with one heart through love trust, fearing and asking God to help them because God cannot give while you are sleeping.

Chairperson School Management Committee Jackson Byamukama hailed Guest of Honour Minister Baryomumsi for honouring the invitation and thanked director Rev Fr Beinomugisha for starting up Bishop Mazzoldi School and also thanked Headteacher and staff for their commitment in giving the children quality education.

While at the same function, the Executive Director Girls to Lead Africa Ms Kansiime Honest Mugisha through her speech read by Hajji Saadi Ramanzan asked the Director and staff Bishop Mazzoldi Day and Boarding Nursery and Primary School to submit the names of children who are orphans for support in Kanungu District.

A total of Ugx 61.6 million in cash and pledges and 20 computers was raised at the function.
