“I am happy that companies and factories dealing in agriculture products left offices in Kampala and camped here, where they have ably sold farm inputs at fair rates and also offered technical advice to our locals,” Minister Baryomunsi said.

The event, which attracted thousands of exhibitors dealing in fertilisers, seeds, and water pumps, among other inputs, was organized by the NRM Vice Chairman for the Central Region, Hon Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi.

“The expo is in line with the NRM manifesto, national development plan III, and aspirations of President Museveni, who has always preached the gospel of socioeconomic transpiration of citizens through commercial agriculture,” Dr Baryomunsi said, and added, “I am hopeful that farmers will implement the knowledge and guidance received”.
