NEWS- In March 2024, the Fountain of Honor, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa the President of the Republic of Uganda made a cabinet reshuffle.
The reshuffle saw a number of new faces emerging on the list of the freshly appointed Ministers, others dropped like it has always been in previous years. In the new cabinet faces was the National Youth Female Member of Parliament Hon. Phionah Nyamutoro, who was appointed the Minister of State for Energy and Minerals Development (Minerals).
After being vetted by the Parliamentary appointments committee, Minister Nyamutoro treated many Ugandans to shock as Eddy Kenzo was the main man besides the Minister as she went to state house to take an oath.
It started emerging that Nyamutoro could have been the person looking after Kenzo’s life after Rema Namakula was whisked away by Dr. Hamza Ssebunya. Photos started emerging of Kenzo and the Minister Visiting Eddy Kenzo’s daughter Maya Mirembe Musuuza during a school visitation day. Just to mention but a few occasions on which the duo have been put to social media on relationship issues than the Minister’s Political career.
On 10th April 2024, while performing at the Comedy Store UG event at UMA Showgrounds, Kenzo referred to Hon Nyamutoro as his “personal person.”
In the middle of his Eid performance, the Semyekozo singer surprised his fans when he interacted with them and opened up about his relationship with the youthful minister.
“I just want to let you know that Honourable Phiona Nyamutoro is my personal person and we have a kid (child) together,” Kenzo said, drawing wild cheers from the crowd.
This came days after Kenzo, said in a TV interview that he had other children besides his two known daughters Maya and Aamal.
Not only that, however, social media in-laws are everywhere excited with the relationship, even others going an extra mile to ask the Minister on her different social platforms about how Kenzo is fairing. In a recent video circulating on social media, Minister Nyamutoro was seen responding to a socialist who was asking “How is our Kenzo”, and the Minister was like Kenzo is very fine and doing well.
It is just a test of time, our ears and eyes remain on the ground to keep you posted with the duo’s responsibility and relationship.
