Christians attentively listening to Minister Ogwang

NEWS- The State Minister for education and sports Hon. Peter Ogwang has assured the public of his involvement in fighting poverty at a household level.

Hon. Ogwang’s return is to start injecting 3Million to each newly created village in Palam sub-county and identifying the problems affecting people.

The message was revealed on Saturday by Team Ogwang’s representative Simon Ojaman where hundreds of mourners had gathered to pay last respect to Gilbert Amaitum aged 6, a son to the LC3 of Ngariam, Moses Iteit.

Ogwang Supported the family with five hundred thousand shillings towards the burial arrangements.

Martin Odaka Omedo, a mourner said the government should have permanent plans that will stop cattle raiding in the sub-counties of; Magoro, Okore, Ngariam, Palam Guya-guya and other areas.

Meantime, Christians in Katakwi have been urged to embrace peace and coexistence in families.

The call was sounded by Simon Peter Obelekek, the head catechist for St. Stephen Catholic parish in Katakwi District during the holy sacrament conducted in Osudan Catholic church in Katakwi sub-county yesterday.

Seventy-six children were baptised from the churches of; Aloogok, Osupa, Osudan and Aputon respectively.
