In December 2024, Movit Products Limited was accredited as a 2024/2025 Uganda Responsible Investment and Uganda Development Champion in recognition of its contributions towards the attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This accreditation was awarded by Public Opinions in association with the Office of the Minister of State for Investment and Privatization Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MFPED).
As a result of this recognition, Movit Products Limited will be inducted in the Uganda Development Champions Journal 2025 for Uganda Certified Responsible Investments/Development Champions. This is a significant milestone for the company, which has been at the forefront of promoting beauty and personal care products in Uganda and beyond.

Movit Products Ltd is a Ugandan personal care company based in Kampala, manufacturing personal care products. Its brands include Movit, Radiant, Baby Junior, Skin Guard, Pine, and NAN. The company was founded in 1997 by Mr. Simpson Birungi as a makeshift workshop in Namasuba, Wakiso District. In 1999, the first Movit product, Herbal Baby Jelly, was put on the market.

Buyinza Adam Luzindana was a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the National Resistance Movement, where he served as Regional Chairman for the NRM Youth League Kampala Region from 2011-2015. He served as the Supreme Leader of the Uganda Poor Youth Movement from 2014-2019 when it was allegedly disbanded. He served as Chairman and Supreme Leader of Makerere University Poor Students Association (MUPOSA).
