NEWS- The Rukungiri municipality legislator Hon Dr. Elisa Rutahigwa has commended the proprietors of London vocational training institute in Southern Division Rukungiri municipality for establishing an institution which targets training Ugandans to be job creators.
Rutahigwa made the remarks while presiding over the graduation of over 230 graduands at London vocational training institute who recently completed their courses like basic tailoring and garnet cutting, salon and hair dressing, computer training, hotel training and catering, knitting and crotchety driving and simple mechanics among others.
Rutahigwa said the government has given an opportunity to pattern with private institutions to award certificates to Ugandans through the directorate of industrial training under the ministry of education and sports which will give a chance to all Ugandans to acquire documentents that can help them to get good jobs and using the acquired knowledge and skills, they will never fail to sustain themselves and the entire family in future.
He asked the graduates to put into practice what they have been taught in order to gain more experience in their professions.
The Erasmus Twijukyire the director London vocational training institute charged the grandaunts to be good ambassadors out there by sharing exemplary characters and skills as well as encouraging other Ugandans to join this great institution.
He asked them to upgrade their studies in future because getting a certificate can’t be a good level of education to stop at.
