NEWS– The former Burema Parish Councillor in Kanayantorogo Sub County, Mendrick Mukiza, who had sought leave of active politics has bounced back to participate in politics with much more zeal and this time has announced to go on a higher level and represent Kanyantoroogo Sub County at the District level.
Mukiza who is born in Burema village in Kanyantoroogo Sub County said that after a well thought-out plan, he was compelled to return to active politics on NRM ticket and will devised that it takes to achieve victory on election day, regardless of the opponent(s).
Mukiza is not new to politics having contested and won Burema Parish Councillor ship and went on to become the Speaker of Kanyantoroogo Sub County in Kanungu District between 2016 to 2021.
While addressing the media, Mukiza said that his plan include meeting the voters face-to-face to give them a massage of hope and letting the voters understand the person he is and this will entail him to start door-to-door ground campaign before the open air campaigns starts later next year.
“Team Mukiza will move mountains and display large wooden signs for a very developed Kanyantoroogo Sub County in 5 Years”, He said.
Mukiza has promised that as the District representative from Kanyantoroogo Sub County, he will listen to voters concerns and will always put in consideration the best interests of the voters first and will always work on a foundation of respectable values, honesty, integrity and transparency.
Mukiza Mendreck was a former Councillor representing Burema Parish and former Speaker of Kanyantoroogo Sub County.
He was also a former Country President of Kanungu Orphans New Hope and, former Deputy Principal Rwashamaire Vocational Institute, former Deputy Principal Kihiihi Community Polytechnic institute and former Principal Kinkiizi Health Institute.
He is also a former Director Bishop Ntegyereize Foundation College, Vice Chairman Management, Burema Primary school, Secretary Parish Council, Burema Parish General Secretary, Kanyantoroogo Archdeaconry Father’s Union, Former Father’s Union Chairman Burema Parish.
He is also Marketing Officer – Great Lakes Regional University, Dean of students, Great Lakes Regional University – Kanungu and Former Security Specialist working with the United States Army in Iraq.
