KAMPALA– Religious leaders have been advised to encourage followers to strictly observe the biblical teaching on creation.
This was contained in a message delivered by the Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Robinah Nabbanja at the sideline of the Inter Religious Council Conference of African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, where President Museveni implored the religious leaders to fight poverty by encouraging their flock to strictly engage high value commercial agriculture.
The African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development is currently on going at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala and has attracted among others religious leaders under their umbrella organisation of the Inter Religious Council of Uganda.
President Museveni urged the religious leaders to fight poverty through engaging in high value commercial agriculture.
