NEWS- In a dramatic turn of events, a group of youth from Ngariam, formerly loyal to Daniel Mulalu and his Kazi ni Kazi movement, publicly denounced their leader and pledged their support to Hon. Minister Peter Ogwang.

The youth, led by Otim James-Ipii, Obela, icila and others expressed their disillusionment with Mulalu’s aspirations citing his lack of a clear development agenda for the people of Ngariam.

Otim said, they are tired of lies since Kazi ni Kazi doesn’t have a plan for our community’s development.

In contrast, the youth praised Hon. Ogwang’s leadership, describing him as a “God-given gift” for Ngariam pledging total their wholehearted support come 2026 elections.

While Welcoming the defectors, the State Minister for Education and sports (SPORTS) and the Ngariam county MP, Hon. Peter Ogwang urged everyone in Ngariam to reject individualistic politics and instead adopt a holistic approach to community development.

The youth’s defection from Mulalu to Hon. Ogwang’s camp is seen as a significant boost to the Minister’s popularity and a testament to his commitment to community development.

As the local saying goes, “Einer Ka Aswam” the people of Ngariam are increasingly recognizing Ogwang’s leadership as the beacon of hope for their community’s progress.

Ogwang while talking to residents of Palam sub county, urged the public to held their female District Councillor Hon. Abur Betty accountable, adding such leaders value their families, leaving the people led.
