KAMPALA- The Government has been urged to come up with policies/guidelines that compel all private companies and contractors to always have proposals on how to fight corruption before they are licensed.

This comes as part of the activities to observe the Anti-Corruption Week where the State House Anti-Corruption Unit held a special guest presentation featuring Mr. Nicholas Rowell, a UK-based Anti-Corruption Consultant.

Nicholas says many companies innocently fall victims to corruption due to lack of proper guidelines to prevent it.

In a presentation to the topic, “How to Stop the Supply Side of Corruption.”

The inspector of Government Betty Namisango Kamya says such moves will collectively put bad practices on hold.

The event at the vice president’s office was attended by Brig Gen Henry Isoke, Head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit and other anti-corruption organizations.
