NEWS- Ngariam County MP and Minister of State for Education and Sports, has made a significant move to motivate and appreciate the hard work of educators in the region.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to teachers in Ngariam County for their outstanding performance in the recent national exams, including PLE, Senior Four, and Advanced Level.
At a meeting attended by nearly 900 teachers from primary, secondary, and technical institutions, Ogwang emphasized the importance of continued hard work and dedication to achieving academic excellence.
He praised the teachers for their tireless efforts in educating the children of Ngariam County, highlighting the crucial role they play in driving socio-economic development in the region.
To demonstrate his commitment to supporting educators, Ogwang pledged to donate 50 million shillings to the Ngariam Teachers Sacco, aimed at enhancing the welfare of teachers.
Furthermore, he promised to reward teachers who consistently produce excellent results, fostering a culture of excellence in education.
The event, which began at Katakwi Technical School, culminated in a special dinner for the teachers at Petua Gardens, serving as a testament to Ogwang’s dedication to recognizing and supporting the efforts of educators in Ngariam County.
