NEWS- The Prime Minister of Uganda Rt Hon Nabbanja Robinah has today represented President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at the 33rd graduation ceremony for the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) in Mbale City.
The Prime Minister was welcomed by the 2nd Deputy Prime Minister Gen Moses Ali, 3rd Deputy Prime Minister Rt Hon Rukia Nakadama Isanga, Mufti Shaban Mubajje, Area Members of Parliament, Local and University top leaders.
According to the University’s Academic Registrar, Dr Halima Wakabi Akbar, Islamic University in Uganda has over 120 accredited programs, 8 Faculties, and a student population of over 10,000 from 21 different countries and the ceremony has also been organised to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the Class of 2024.
Islamic University in Uganda is a multi-campus university offering courses at certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels with its main campus in Mbale City.
