KAMPALA- The Police have made a breakthrough and arrested three suspects in the ongoing murder investigations of a Bweyogerere’s Africa Oil Petrol Station manager who was killed on the northern bypass.
The body of Agnes Nantongo, a 30 year old resident of Matugga, was recovered along the Northern bypass last weekend. Reports indicated that Nantongo was hit with a brick hurled at her by unknown people, who took her phone and other belongings as she returned from work.
Sources from the Naguru Camera Command Center have indicated that the retrieved CCTV footage does not show the point where her body was found or anyone following her, making it difficult to trace any suspect.
Addressing Journalists at Naguru Police Headquarters, Luke Owoyesigyire, the Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, without giving details, confirmed the arrest of three people.
