NEWS- The Police in Ntinda have launched Manhunt for the thugs who have attacked and assaulted retired Bishop Niringiye to coma before robbing his belongings.
It has been reported that Retired Bishop Zack David Niringiye, a resident of Kimera Road-Ntinda Parish in Kampala, was attacked while on his midday jog, unidentified assailants who were moving on a motorcycle.
Bishop Niringiye was approached at Commercial Road, near Rock View Hotel. The assailants allegedly struck him with a blunt object, causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground. During this attack, his iPhone 13 Pro Max was stolen.
The Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police Spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire has said that the victim was promptly provided with first aid at the nearest clinic and has since been discharged, adding that efforts to apprehend the suspects are ongoing.
“Efforts to apprehend the suspects are ongoing, and we are working diligently to bring those responsible to justice. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.” Owoyesigyire said.
Several operations have been conducted with KMP, to curb gang groups that have increased, with more video clips showing criminals moving on motorcycles stealing unsuspecting victims on roads in broad daylight.
