Proprietors of entertainment centres and church leaders who plan on conducting overnight prayers are directed to put up security checks and crowd control mechanisms while cooperating with the territorial police commanders to avert any security threat in a bid to ensure peaceful celebrations.

ASP Maate also urged the public to refrain from driving while under the influence of alcohol, reminding them that riders must remain disciplined and adhere to the law to prevent accidents and related dangers. He added that leaving homes and children unattended is wrong, as heartless individuals may exploit the opportunity to harm minors and commit theft.

Maate extended Easter wishes to residents within the Kigezi sub-region, urging them to pray to God for redemption from sin and eternal life.

Maate emphasized the need for cooperation with security agencies and announced that Police officers will be deployed to various locations to ensure general security.
