KAMPALA- The Office of National Chairman under the leadership of Senior Presidential Advisor (SPA) and National Coordinator of the Bazzukulu Mobilisation Group – Hajjati Hadijah Namyalo has today held a fundamental end of year prayers at their office in Kyambogo Lower Estate.
The National Coordinator brought together in this colourful religious ceremony the foot soldiers of the party from all the Districts of Uganda, the leadership of the Party led by the 1st Vice National Chairman of NRM – Al Hajji Brig (Rtd) Moses Ali, the Secretary General of NRM, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, Vice Chairman for Buganda Region – Hon. Salongo Godfrey Kiwanda, CEC Member and Minister of State in Charge of Veteran Affairs Hon. Huda Oleru, various Minister, MPs, Religious leaders and political leaders from the local divisions of Kampala led by Mayor Salim Uhuru.
SPA Hadija Namyalo thanked the people for sparing their time and contribute to the leadership cause through prayer and thanks giving. This, she assured the nation, is the foundation for the success of NRM and Uganda as a whole, because we are a God fearing country.
SPA Namyalo who also doubles as the Personal Assistant to the NRM National Chairman, H.E General Yoweri Museveni thanked the party leaders present for the wise counsel that they have always offered to her especially in the face of the virulent media attacks that have been orchestrated by the people against the enthusiasm she has brought to the Office of National Chairman. The socio-economic and political activities run by the office in line with the President’s message of economic empowerment have put her and her strong team of coordinators across the country in the positive limelight especially the youthful population.
On his part, the 1st National NRM Vice Chairman, Al Hajji Moses Kigongo thanked the organisers of the end of year prayers led by SPA Hadija Namyalo for a great job of not swaying away from the fear of the Lord. He emphasized that this will enable Ugandans to trust the leadership of the country the more considering that the current office bearers have not misused the trust put into them by His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, the President of Uganda and vision bearer of NRM. He encouraged the members to work harder in spreading the gospel of the party which begins with patriotism.
The NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Todwong thanked the ONC leadership under SPA Namyalo for the fantastic cooperation with the NRM Secretariat that has been exhibited lately. He pledged to continue with the team work as this will make NRM stronger both at the National and grassroots level.
This is the second time that the Office of the National Chairman under the leadership of SPA Hadijah Namyalo has organized prayers with the first one having been in respect of the Principal – the NRM Chairman, healing from the deadly Covid-19 disease.
