The National Resistance Movement National chairman and Party Presidential Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today January 9th commissions teams of NRM leaders from all districts of West Nile Sub region to intensify the party’s campaigns and manifesto sensitization in their localities ahead of next week’s national elections.
President Museveni guided leaders on details of the NRM manifesto manuscript in which the Party’s core contributions to Uganda are detailed including Peace and stability, Social and economic development, wealth and job creation glaring through Industrialization, roads, schools, health centers among others.

While speaking during the flag off of NRM leaders from West Nile Sub region at Muni University Playgrounds in Arua City, Candidate Museveni rallied the voters in West Nile Sub region to stick to good politics of ideology and avoid bad politics of secterianism and identity that had ruined Uganda’s glory by the past regimes.
President Museveni guided on patriotism, pan Africanism, Democracy and socioeconomic transformation as the core NRM principles and said that he upports USA president Trump’s mass deportation program and tasks Ugandans to end the diaspora illusion and settle to develop their motherland.
President Museveni explained that Uganda has built capacity to support and protect wealth creation and developments initiated by anybody through unity and institutions capabilities in civil service and national defense and wonders why a few Ugandans continue with the diaspora illusion instead of harnessing opportunities in the their country and hinted on job opportunity sectors in Uganda with examples to emulate.
On the issue of Parish Development Model, President Museveni confirmed plans about regulations to curb irregularities and boost the impact and reach of the initiative and rallied leaders from districts in West Nile Sub region to further sensitive the people on such mass wealth creation initiatives initiated by the NRM government
He affirmed the NRM government’s readiness to maintain cheap capital schemes for all prospective wealth creators at their respective levels and announced aggressive fish farming schemes for district sharing the Nile valley in West Nile area and more intensified wealth creation initiatives in his next term of office .
President Museveni asked leaders of West Nile Sub region to avail an expansive piece of land above one square mile on which to establish an Industrial Park in their area with reference to Namanve, Mbale, Kapeeka, Mukono industrial areas.
He agreed to include West Nile Sub on the planned cattle restocking initiative for Northern Uganda that was earlier confirmed for Teso, Lango and Acholi Sub regions and tasked West Nile Leaders to preach and teach peace to avoid a rebound of the historical chaos in their area that affect affected earlier development of the area.
The National Resistance Movement leaders from West Nile led by Hon Zoe Bakoko Bakoru the Arua City NRM chairperson read the region’s Memorandum to the President.
